After several delays, an Ariane 5 was successfully launched from Kourou, French Guiana carrying
the Rosetta cometary probe. This is a 10 Year mission to the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
On arrival in 2014, Rosetta will be inserted into orbit and release a lander called Philae to the
Comet's surface

6th June 2004 marks the 60th anniversary of the D-Day Landings on the Normandy Beaches.
I have chosen a site that not only specifically covers D-Day, but also this particular anniversary!
