nations and has continued to do so for the last
48 Years.
But this is only the latest period since 1492, that Cuba's History has had a

The invasion and occupation of the Falkland Islands by Argentina and the British response
resulting in the island's liberation, happened a quarter of a century ago. Yet the effects
of this conflict are still resonating in Argentina, Falklands and the UK, not only by those who were scarred by
the war and the families of the fallen, but in the spheres of Politics, Society and Military Thinking.

Although the British Death Toll was relatively low (225) there were
many casualties scarred in body and/or mind.
