40 Years on the Little Ships head for Dunkirk

This picture was taken when aboard the
Paddle Steamer Waverley
on 4th June 1980 as many of the
surviving
'Little Ships'
sailed to a wreath laying ceremony off the Beaches of Dunkirk on the
40th Anniversary of the end of
Operation Dynamo
or as the then Dean of St Paul's put it:
The 'Miracle' of Dunkirk
